Samsung electronics company presented on exhibition ceBIT 2007, that takes place in Hannover (Germany), two models of LCD- monitors: SyncMaster 961BF and 961BW, that are characterized by elegant design and high performance characteristics.

The contemporary design of LCD- monitors in the black case , double-hinged counters, that increase the comfort of use, will draw the attention of users, for whom are important the exterior view, and the functional characteristics of monitor.

New models, as notes producer, ensure high image quality , have the large viewing angles 170°, dynamic gamma 3000:1 and response time of 2 ms. In this case the comfort of work is increased due to the double-hinged counter, which allow to easily change the screen angle and also the functions auto pivot (Magic rotation), automatically determining position of screen and image turning and MagicTune, that allow for user to regulate brightness, contrast and resolution with the aid of mouse or keyboard.

Furthermore, SyncMaster 961BW support technology HDCP (High bandwidth digital content protection), which gives the possibility to examine video with high resolution and with connection through DVI ports . Due to this function , users can preview high clearness (HDTV) and high-quality films from DVD-player.

I\'ve read in the specs here: http://www.samsung.com/he/products/monitor/art/961bf.asp?page=Specifications that power consumption is just 28 watt(max), while most 19\" TFT\'s (even the 960bf) have a power consumption of 38 watt(max). Could be a fault in the specs though.
