Known overclocker Shamino already subjected the Radeon HD 7970 to some modifications on the part of power system. It got a special video card BIOS, which allow to overclock up to 1700/8000 MHz cooled with liquid nitrogen.  The GPU temperature was minus 120-180 degrees Celsius. The core voltage was increased to 1.6v, the memory - up to 1.86 V, Vddci voltage was 1.6 V.  In the test 3DMark'11 with the CPU Core i7-3960X at 5637 MHz and the Radeon HD 7970 @1700 / 8000 MHz frequencies the result was P15063 points. This is a new world record for single GPU. At 3DMark Vantage video card frequencies are equal to 1700 / 7920 MHz, and the result was P54725 points. Related Products : | ||
