Today appeared a screenshot of an overclocked Radeon HD 7950 version, which operates at 880/5000 MHz frequencies. This video card will be released in PCS + series from PowerColor Company . The GPU-Z screenshot confirm the presence in Radeon HD 7950 of three gigabytes GDDR5 memory , 384-bit bus, 1792 stream processors, 112 texture units and 32 ROP units. Support PCI Express 3.0 and DirectX 11.1.  Colleagues also reported that the standard version Radeon HD 7950 is only available for versions with 3 GB memory, later will appear a version with 1.5 GB memory . In addition, AMD partners prepared alternative version of the Radeon HD 7970 with 3 GB memory, which will operate at higher frequencies.  Associate tested the Radeon HD 7950 in 3DMark'11 Performance as at default frequencies 800/5000 MHz, and overclocked to 1030/5600 MHz.  Coupled with Core i5-2500K processor, clocked at 3.3 GHz, the result was P6139 points in the first case, and P7056 points in the second. 
The overclock of Radeon HD 7950 allows you to get closer to the Radeon HD 7970, running at stock speed. Related Products : | ||
