Recent statements by analysts Future Horizons seriously undermined the reputation of TSMC - the company has problem with the release level of six out of ten chips produced on 28 nm technology. Representatives of the European TSMC division denied this information.  The rate of reduction of defect density in the 28 nm process technology is consistent with the company's plans, while it is better indicators of 40/45 nm technology at a comparable implementation stage  . Development Experience of 40 nm TSMC forced to draw conclusions and to tighten control over defects.  The next step (20-nm technology) will be developed with even greater difficulties. The rate of 28 nm development is also pleasing TSMC customers .  Now in mass production are 36 products.
