HTC has completed the acquisition of  S3 Graphics organization.  The deal does not aim to bring some innovation in HTC smartphone , the company is interested only in increasing its patent portfolio.   Due to courts HTC has already had to postpone the U.S. release of one of its champions, as well as take a modification of the other models.  At least two proceedings still under investigation.  Including the complaint, filed last week.  It says that HTC continues to violate the patents in 29 devices.   However, HTC representatives indicate the absence of any significant damage as a result of lawsuits.
