To the announcement Of r600 and video card on base of chips RV630/RV610 remain only less than week. As we said , before the second-half of May AMD promised to announce ten graphical solutions with directX 10 support . Furthermore, some sources noted the possibility of announcement of five mobile graphical solutions with directX 10 support . This model is called to replace the Radeon x1950 pro and also to strengthen AMD positions in the average price segment, where NVIDIA can propose the 256- bit version geForce 8600 GTS. The intended for OEM- segment long video card radeon HD 2900 XTX with 1 Gb GDDR-4 memory was replaced by the Radeon HD 2900 XT 1024MB DDR4. Completely regular replacement, since the 1 Gb GDD4 memory did not give praticlly an performance boost to the xtx radeon . The suffix XTX will be preserved for video card radeon HD 2950 XTX on base of 65 nm chip r650, which AMD try to show in the end of the third quarter . | ||
