Acer company , which occupies the third place among the world PC suppliers , presented a new multimedia notebook aspire 5920 Acer, based on mobile platform Intel centrino new generation.

In Acer Aspire 5920 is installed the processor centrino 2 Duo (platform Intel centrino fourth generation, known earlier under the code name santa rosa). As it was asserted , the use of this new platform ensure high performance and rich functionality with simultaneous increase in the off-line operation time .

In some version Of aspire 5920 will be accessible the technology Intel robson. Let us recall, That Robson allow to reduce the load time and increase the time of off-line operation due to the use of flash- memory.

One additional special feature in aspire 5920 will become orientation for multimedia applications. Notebook is equipped with 15,4- inch wide-format screen acer crystalBrite with 8 ms pixel reaction time and with graphic system on base of the newest mobile solution NVIDIA geForce 8600M-GT with 256 mb video memory (plus up to 2048 mb turboCache) and with support to microsoft directX 10. Computer has the sound system (Dolby home theater virtual surround sound), port HDMI, drive HD-DVD and TV- tuner DVB- T (optionally).

In this configuration enters hard disk with volume upto 200 Gb, card reader 5 in 1 and up to 4 Gb operational memory. We have also the Network adapter Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 Gigabit ethernet.
