Dell company begin the sale of three new notebook (at least, in Japan), first two are Latitude d830 and D630, witch are made for platform santa rosa, and the last D531, on the base of AMD processor . In first two notebook user has as option the solid-state disk (SSD) or hybrid hard disks, and also 6 cell lithium-ionic batteries. The storage battery in d531 is limited to 4 cell. In all models as option is accessible the wireless connection IEEE 802.11n adapter . Thus, D830 model has 15,4- inch (WXGA, 1280×800) screen , the notebook is made on base of processor core 2 Duo and in the minimum configuration it will cost about 1600 dollars. In the minimum configuration Dell used the chipset Intel GM965 express (with integrated graphic system), 512 Mbytes operational memory, 60 Gb hard disk, built-in adapter IEEE 802.11b/g.  In the maximum configuration the same notebook can be equipped with graphic adapter NVIDIA quadro 135M/140M support resolution (1920×1200). The notebook Dimensions are 361×262,6×35,3 mm, mass  2,71 kg. D630, is the optimized version of d620 model , is equipped with 14,1- inch display and in the minimum configuration such notebook will cost about 1500 dollars. In the minimum configuration this notebook is made on processor core 2 Duo t7100 (1,8 GHz) and chipset Intel GM965 express, 512 Mbytes memory, 60- Gb hard disk, CD -ROM drive, adapters gigabit Ethernet and IEEE 802.11b/g. Preinstalled OS – Windows vista home basic. Sizes of this notebook is 337×238×32 mm, mass is equal to 2,3 kg. Finally, Dell Latitude d531 is one of the first models dell notebook on base of processors AMD (D520 use Celeron). This model is accessible in versions with 14,1 or 15,4- inch display, with processors turion 64 or Sempron. Cost in the minimum configuration will be about 1000 dollars. In the minimum configuration we have : processor sempron 3500+ (1,8 GHz), chipset AMD M690T (with built-in graphic system), 14,1- inch WXGA- display, Cd-ROM, adapter gigabit Ethernet and IEEE 802.11b/g.
