The constantly growing video card power units requirements and interest in overclock stimulate demand for power units. Many producer already present high quality power units. Yesterday gigabyte company was added to this long list , This last presented the power units series odin GT and Odin pro with 550 W, 680 W and 800 W power  . The descriptions of these power units can be found on producer site . The power units odin GT are more advanced, they come with monitoring program able to control the basic power unit parameters , with four temperature sensor elements and fan speed control  . The modest power units in series odin pro has the possibility to change its fan illumination color . We note those power units in both series have four lines +12 v, they are equipped with 140 mm , produced with high-quality Japanese capacitors, possess active PFC and EFFICIENCY more than 80%, they are equipped with modular cables connection system  . 680 and 800 W models have in totality four 6 pin power connector for video card with interface PCI express x16. 550 W models are provided only two 6 pin power connector . Through a special converter , the power units series odin GT are connected to the motherboard USB port . User obtains the possibility to achieve control over temperatures, fans rotation speed (power unit and system), Voltage and required power. The utility P -Tuner allow to slightly adjust these parameters, to create profiles or to restore saved one, and also to select the threshold values with sound alarm. Power unit has different protection functions , and at 75 degree Celsiuss fan automatically pass to the maximum speed . Related Products :
