News about the appearance of video card radeon HD 2350 with directX 10 support gave occasion to hope that NVIDIA will take reciprocal steps, indeed, until now, its graphical solutions with directX 10 support and cost less than $100 still available only in OEM- segment. The release Of radeon HD 2350 could push the geForce 8400 GS and GeForce 8300 GS to the retail market..
We should note also , that the prices level for video card series radeon HD 2400 is completely capable to stimulate competition. Video card radeon HD 2400 Pro will not cost more than $45 (For company like Dell etc). AND it is already hard to propose something cheaper. :-)

According to our associates , NVIDIA is assembled to release for the retail market video card geForce 8400 GS. Its announcement is planned near 19 June, and as basic competitor to the GeForce 8400 GS will become the Radeon HD 2400 Pro. NVIDIA Company intends to propose this card for similar price ($45) and higher speed level .

Video card geForce 8400 GS will be based on chip g86 with 16 stream processors, the clock frequencies of standard version will be equal to 450/800 MHz - as in GeForce 8500 GT. Basic difference from this last will become the memory system bus - it will be reduced from 128 to 64 bits. Now those desiring to be introduced to DirectX 10 can purchase video card with this API support for $45-50. Certainly, the speed level in this case will be completely modest, but for this price this completely regular solution.
