Leadtek Research company, which is a partner of Nvidia and emphasis on research and development in the field of graphics cards, introduced its version of the video card NVIDIA GTX 660, WinFast GeForce GTX 660 Hurricane II. The card is based on Kepler architecture (GPU GK104), has an original PCB design and cooling systems, as well as the stock speeds.
WinFast GeForce GTX 660 Hurricane II is equipped with 960 stream processors, 2 GB of GDDR5 memory with 192-bit access. Frequency for the GPU and memory is as follows: 980 MHz (1033 MHz in turbo mode) / 6000 MHz. Also we note the support of PCI Express 3.0 bus, DirectX 11 API, technology, 3D Vision, 3D Vision Surround, CUDA, PhysX, SLI. On the back there is HDMI, DisplayPort ports and two DVI.
The cooling system, in this case is a two-slot model Hurricane II with two 74-mm fans, a massive aluminum heat sink and a stylish plastic cover. Cooler is able to reduce by 10% the temperature of the graphics core in comparison with the reference model from nVidia, as well as a 15% reduction in the noise level.
