Toshiba Company updated the number of ultra-portable notebook by new model, Dynabook SS RX1. To be more precise, the entire series, is equipped now with 12,1- inch displays 1280x800 (WXGA) and they are supplied with preinstalled OS Windows vista business. In Dynabook SS RX1, the thickness of case is only 0,45 mm, the thickness of optical drive is equal to 7 mm, LCD- screen  0.2 mm, which result in 19,5 mm notebook thickness . At the same time, Toshiba do not forgot about hard disk protection (from overloads with drop from 70 cm height ) and also keyboard protection. As producer asserted , the operation time composes 6 hours, and with 5800 six-cell battery the operation time will compose 11 hours. In This new series are presented three models: model (RX1/S7A) with 80- Gb hard disk, duplex model with the same hard disk and multiformat DVD- drive (RX1/T7A) ,another model with 64-Gb solid-state disk (RX1/T9A). The mass of this notebook is only 848 g (with standard battery), with six-cell this last will be equal to 968 g (we talk here about RX1/T9A, RX1/S7A , The model RX1/T7A are heavier : 1010 and 1090 g, respectively). Other characteristics of those models are identical:  ultra-low-voltage processor core 2 Duo u7500 (1,06 GHz), chipsets intel 945GMS express (with built-in video), 1 Gb memory and preinstalled pack office oneNote 2007, three ports USB 2.0, one port IEEE 1394, PCMCIA type II and Secure digital, adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g, Gigabit ethernet, finger imprints sensor and TPM- chip, VGA- out. The cost of models will comprise: approximately 1800 dollars for RX1/S7A  , RX1/T7A approximately 2050 dollars, RX1/T9A approximately 3100 dollars. Related Products :
