This Thursday NVIDIA had to present the video card GeForce GTX 780, which may interest gamers due to the combination of advanced GPU GK110 and more attractive price compared to GeForce GTX Titan. GeForce GTX 780 cost is above the psychologically important mark of $ 500, but lower than the cost of GeForce GTX Titan. In the U.S. market the new GK110 card will be offered at a price of $ 649.  It makes sense to list the main technical characteristics of GeForce GTX 780. Graphics processor GK110, numbering 7.1 billion transistors, manufactured on 28nm technology. The number of functional units compared to the GeForce GTX Titan has been cut down. Saved 2,304 stream processors, 192 block texturing and 48 ROP units. With GDDR5 memory capacity of 3GB graphics processor communicates through a 384-bit bus.  The video card operates at frequencies of 863/900/6008 MHz. The power supply recommended power is 600 watts, the graphics card is connected by six-and one octal sockets. TDP value of all the video card does not exceed 250 watts, and the thermal protection of the GPU starts to reduce the frequency at a temperature of 95 degrees Celsius.  The back of the video card provides two ports Dual-Link DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. The printed-circuit board has two connectors for connecting SLI bridges.
