Hong Kong company ZOTAC International (MCO) Limited, which is one of the largest manufacturers of graphics cards, introduced its version of the video card series GeForce GT 640 and GeForce GT 630. New items are GeForce GT 640 GDDR5 (ZT-60209-10L) and GeForce GT 630 Zone Edition (ZT-60409-20L), both based on a new graphics chip Nvidia GK208 with 384 stream processors, 32 texture units (TMU), 8 blocks ROP (ROP) and are designed to build the system blocks entry level, with low power consumption and low cost.

Video card Zotac GeForce GT 640 GDDR5 chip GK208-400 operates at frequencies of 1046/5000 MHz for the core and memory, respectively, equipped with active cooling system, connectors DVI-D, HDMI and D-Sub, as well as an exotic interface PCI Express 2.0 x8. The amount of buffer memory is 2 GB GDDR5, memory bus - 64-bit, the TDP of 49 watts.

Video card Zotac GeForce GT 630 Zone Edition uses the graphics processor GK208-301 with a lower default frequency (902 MHz). Also available in a passive cooling system, 2GB of DDR3 memory running at an effective frequency up to 1800 MHz and has a 64-bit memory bus. Graphics adapter consumes only 25 watts of power. Available PCI Express 2.0 x8 slot, DVI-D, HDMI and D-Sub outputs.

Published tests have shown that the new GeForce GT 640 GDDR5 bit bypasses performance 128-bit version of the GT 640 DDR3 memory at the expense of a higher effective rate of video memory equal to 5000 MHz, and the video card GeForce GT 630 (GK208) is slightly inferior to the GT 630 (GF108) .
