Associate reported about Apple direct investment in productive capacity.
Of course, specially for factory for the production of semiconductors, nobody builds, so Apple had to buy the production capacity at some of the existing contract manufacturers. Here come producers: IBM, GlobalFoundries, TSMC, UMC, Intel and Samsung. It is likely that in this context it makes sense to discuss the purchase of Samsung factory .
Intel featured collaboration with Apple rumors are for long time. Intel does not even exclude the possibility to release processors with ARM architecture , which is used and the development of Apple. However, Intel also would not sell its factory .
Finally, IBM and GlobalFoundries are suitable for this role badly. The first long minimized their participation in the contract manufacturing of semiconductors, and therefore superfluous factories it simply does not have. The second is rapidly expanding industrial base, so is more likely to buy, not sell factory.
