Gavin Gear  one of the senior Microsoft,  installed three monitors Sharp PN-K321 4K Ultra HD with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, used to play DiRT 3. Initially for monitors Geer used a single graphics card ASUS Radeon HD 7970 DirectCU II, however, to run DiRT 3 with highest graphics quality settings and at resolution of 11,520 pixels x 2160 it was not enough, some of the details of the enthusiast had to be simplified.  The frame rate was 35 units per second, and vertical frequency was 30 Hz. Then Geer found in two Radeon HD 7970 graphics card and monitor used a different configuration, getting a virtual screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz frame . In the third stage in the test computer has another video card Radeon HD 7970, and the three newly formed monitor screen with a resolution of 11,520 x 2160 pixels.  To complicate the task, Geer has decided to increase the refresh rate to 60 Hz, for which he had to bring a friend from AMD and modify the graphics driver.
