The South Korean giant Samsung is a leading national manufacturer of many products, from chips to mobile electronics.   The company reported the development of a camera module with a resolution of 13 megapixels, having improved optical image stabilization.  The camera's ability to compensate for the displacement of the lens during shooting has grown to a half degrees in the angular terms, while the camera on the market can absorb only a displacement of 0.7 degrees. In addition, the new camera is capable of better, brighter pictures in low light conditions - this figure improved to eight times compared to its predecessor.  Dimensions of the camera module managed to keep the same (10.5 x 10.5 x 5.9 mm), but the power consumption was lowered.  Samples of the chamber was offered to the leading manufacturers of smartphones, so Samsung may not be its only customer.  Mass production of upgraded cameras begin in the first half of next year.
