AMD Partners continue to fill the market with new generation video cards ( with AGP 8x interface ) . We already talked in previous news about The version radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256 mb DDR-2 memory and its UVD support function . We also talked about the video card radeon HD 2400 Pro with AGP 8x interface and 256 mb or 512 mb DDR2 memory .
The Video card series radeon HD 2600 have 128- bit memory system bus ; they are equipped with larger memory volumes , therefore they are faster than video cards series radeon HD 2400. Today appeared the video card radeon HD 2600 Pro with AGP 8x interface in some Japanese stores but in this case it is coupled with 512 mb DDR-2 memory .
Focus attention, that this AGP- video card is equipped with six-pin power connector , which is usually installed on graphic card with PCI express x16 interface .
The memory chips are located and on the back printed-circuit board side, they are covered by plate- radiator.
The Operating frequencies of video card are equal to 600/800 MHz. In Japan such card is sold for $160, This is sufficiently good for Radeon HD 2600 Pro, But such video card propose a combination of AGP 8x, UVD, 512 mb memory, 128- bit system bus and future directX 10 support (AS AMD promised) .
