According to the report DRAMeXchange, the research division TrendForce, specializing in computer memory, in 2013, the total market volume DRAM modules reached 7.3 billion dollars, 32% improved in 2012. The main factors that contributed to the growth in revenue producers has been increasing memory prices and high demand.
The ten leading manufacturers of RAM modules account for nearly 88% of total revenues. Kingston company continues to lead , second and third place are for ADATA and Ramaxel companies respectively.
In 2013, prices for DRAM chips increased due to reductions in their supplies and many manufacturers switch production of solutions for mobile devices. As a result, the contract value of chip density DDR3 4Gb jumped from $ 1.84 to $ 3.94, the spot market price rose by 88%, to $ 4.27.
