The growth in processor core quantity was rapidly  limited by economic barriers: in order to release cheap dual core processor, it is necessary to produce them on thin technical process so the crystal would come out compact and inexpensive. Furthermore, there is no vital need for dual core processors from the owners of cheapest computers . It is more important to purchase a maximally cheap processor, which can work in the selected motherboard. Here the single core processors does not have competitors. Intel for some time do not share information about the development of budgetary celeron processors  . It was clear that they will pass to the core architecture  , and the production of models with netBurst architecture will be removed. However, new models in the series celeron 4xx appeared  rarely. As it is explained, Intel prepared a new offensive market  step with dual core celeron processors ! Thus, in the first quarter 2008 , Intel will be presented the first dual core processor - Celeron e1200. It will operate at 1.6 GHz frequency  , it will have two core with 512 KB divided cache in the second level,  800 MHz system bus support, but the TDP level will not exceed 65 W. It is easy to understand that from Pentium e2xxx processors  these celeron will differ only in terms of cache volume in the second level, which will be reduced  from 1 mb to 512 KB. Let us note that in multimedia tasks and games  cache usually negatively affects the processors speed. New Celeron,  will not cost  more  than $50-60. Unfortunately, for the work with Celeron e1xxx will be required a motherboard, which supports conroe processors  . Later in 2008 Intel will present faster models celeron  e1xxx. AMD Company , until now, did not plan to present dual core sempron . . Accordingly, if AMD presents dual core sempron in the following year, then they will be based on K8 generation core   .
