We already reported that new video card on base of RV670 chip will relate to radeon HD 3800 family  , yesterday appeared the photographs of video card radeon HD 3870 and Radeon HD 3850 standard designs. AMD decided to remove the suffixes XT and Pro instead of them will appear digital number in the video card designation model . For example, Radeon HD 3870 is high-end model in the family and Radeon HD 3850 will be in average segment. Video card Radeon HD 3850 will obtain one slot cooler and  700/1800 MHz frequencies . This product will be equipped with 512 mb or 256 mb GDDR- 3 memory  with 256- bit system bus. Dual slot cooler will be used in video card Radeon HD 3870, which will be equipped with 512 mb GDDR-4  memory with the constant 256- bit system bus. The frequencies Of radeon HD 3870 will be supposedly equal to 825/2400 MHz; however, their final values can be updated . RV670 is released on 55 nm technical process, it support PCI express 2.0 and DirectX 10.1, it is equipped with UVD function . The number of stream processors is equal to 320 pieces. Video card series radeon HD 3800 can be united in one system with the technology crossFire X - four pieces on one motherboard on base of chipset AMD 790FX. The possibility of processing physical effects in games is also supported. Video card series radeon HD 3800 can be released with AGP 8x interface - theoretically they will support the transitional bridge RIALTO . For the work with video cards Radeon HD 3870 and Radeon HD 3850 with interface PCI express x16 will be required the drivers catalyst version 8.43. Related Products :
