Associate obtained the latest batch of serial processors Phenom 9600 (2.3 GHz) and Phenom 9500 (2.2 GHz), the situation with memory was not improved , it worked in the regime DDR2-733 and DDR2-766. The authors recognize that the problems could be related to the chipset AMD 790FX .

Here is Cinebench R10 and 3DMark'06 test results .

The following table summarizes the basis for comparison, we took the results based on Phenom 9600 (2.3 GHz) system .

At the default frequency Phenom could hardly catch Intel processors with four core.

In 3DMark'06 , Phenom 9600 (2.3 GHz) processor is able to win only over dual-core predecessors.

The comparison wasn\'t very fair. Comparing a £150 processor with a £400/500 + CPU is unreasonable it. Altohugh it probably would be fair to say AMD haven\'t entered the high end of the quad core market because they don\'t think they can compete at that level just now

There is no other processor available from AMD.
