Just three days separate us from the formal announcement of video card Radeon HD 3870 and Radeon HD 3850. Associate already reviewed the video card Radeon HD 3870 with 512 MB GDDR-4 memory . This Video Card has the reference design and worked at frequencies 777/2252 MHz , it was coupled with 4.0 GHz processor Core 2 Extreme QX9650 with four core.  It is important to note that the results of Radeon HD 3870 in CrossFire were compared with dual GeForce 8800 GT video cards (SLI). Here is 3DMark'06 result.
 The GeForce 8800 GT is faster then Radeon HD 3870 by a few per cent, but with AA enabled the deference became lower .
 Heavier regime give better performance for crossfire.
 Extremely heavy graphical mode 8xAA and 16xAF reduce the difference between the GeForce 8800 GT and Radeon HD 3870.
 There was also a comparison of single video in Crysis Demo, observers noted a higher picture quality with Radeon HD 3870. However, in terms of FPS value the graphics card Radeon HD 3870 was behind the GeForce 8800 GT by about 14%. Related Products : | ||
