The system based on the overclocked to 3.0 GHz Phenom processors took  the public attention. But here engineering samples Phenom in the first reviews overclocked to only around 2600 MHz frequency, only the most successful copies can reach higher frequency . On the other hand, the situation with the frequency capability can be slightly improved with the announcement of Phenom 9700 (2.4 GHz) in January, but here we will get the increased TDP for the coming new models .AMD company ,  promised to release Phenom model with 3.0 GHz frequency in the next 6 month . In XtremeSystems.org forum, the first feedback from owners of serial processors Phenom 9500 (2.2 GHz) appeared . Some of them are optimistic. For example, using Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe based on chipset NVIDIA nForce 570SLI , Phenom processor and cold air here is the result . At the default voltage 1.25 V the processor overclock to the frequency 2706 MHz, but it maintained stability in most tests. CPU-Z was validated at 2761 MHz frequency. but here  Increased voltage do not allow to reach higher frequency . Another owner of serial Phenom 9500 (2.2 GHz) announced that the processor overclock to 2.55 GHz. After the replacement of cooling system with a Athlon 64 X2 6000 + processor with heat pipes and the voltage 1.3 V it was able to overclock the processor up to 2.67 GHz. The third owner of Phenom 9500 from the same forum said that  the processor overclocked to 2.75 GHz, but it was not stable at this frequency. The Owners of Phenom 9500 processor  hope that AMD chipset series 7xx motherboard will be able to show better overclock. Related Products :

	i overclocked my 9500 to 2.7 stable factoy air cooled. i\'ve not seen any thing close to this result elsewhere. (http://forums.amd.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=319&threadid=91531&enterthread=y) here\'s a link where i posted my results and screen shots of the actual bios screen. i understtand i was very lucky. but this may give us a lil amd hope <3
