Sony Mobile Communications plans to sell 38 million smartphones in 2015 fiscal year, which began this month and will be completed in March 2016. For comparison, in the previous fiscal year, the company sold 39.2 million smartphones.
Meanwhile, Sony is preparing to announce its new Xperia Z4, which this week has passed certification of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission, FCC). Smartphone model number PM-0780 has a slot for MicroSD memory card and will come with Android 5.x Lollipop on board. According to the previously leaked information to the network, Sony Xperia Z4 will get a 5.1-inch display with a resolution of 1080p, SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, as well as two cameras: the main 20-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel front.
