Gigabyte has introduced a motherboard GA-Z97X-Game Plus, based on chipset Intel Z97 and focused on Intel processors LGA1150. According to Gigabyte, the new product needs to compete in a price class of about $ 150 "gaming solutions" such as, ASUS Z97-Pro Gamer.
There are 8 phase for processor power . Four memory slots, DDR3 modules may be installed a total capacity up to 32 GB. Seven expansion slots: three full-sized PEG (PCI-Express 3.0), the top two can work on schemes 16 + 8 + 0 and 8, the third one is a PEG x4 2.0 and divides three lines PCI-E slots from x1 2.0 (switching is done by setting in the BIOS), and one slot PCI. Sound system built on 7.1 audio controller Realtek ALC1150, while the audio section is separated from the rest of the motherboard PCB strips without conducting layers, which, according to the manufacturer should provide protection from crosstalk and interference.
