PowerColor company yesterday introduced the graphics card named Radeon HD 3870 SCS3 512 MB GDDR-4,which is fully equipped with a silent cooling system in the form of two thermal tubes radiator . Note that PowerColor has alternative version Radeon HD 3870 512 MB GDDR-4 with active cooler from ZEROtherm production, which operates at high frequencies 800/2340 MHz. Identical cooling system can be found in the Radeon HD 3870, as well as similar graphics card from Club3D production .  Back to the passively cooled version Radeon HD 3870 512 MB, we note that it is working on frequencies 775/2252 MHz. This is quite natural, since it is difficult to overclock with passive radiator . In our laboratory the use of Accelero S1 and Radeon HD 3870 in passive mode permits to increase the temperature level to 100 degrees Celsius.  The manufacturer reports that the radiator can be installed on both sides of the PCB.  The Radiator construction is similar to Accelero S2. In sell PowerColor Radeon HD 3870 SCS3 512 MB GDDR-4 will be available in next January, the price is not available. Related Products : | ||
