Brand reputation, earned over the years can serve as a source of profit, even after discontinuation of the goods concerned by the original owner.
Founded in 1981, the Swiss company Logitech has recently announced that it decided to change the logo.
So it will look like a new company logo, and soon under the brand name Logi there will be new products. Interestingly, on the American Stock Exchange shares traded under the symbol Logitech LOGI, so the appearance of such a subsidiary brand seems logical.
The main thing is that the new brand is not associated in a certain part of the population with ambiguous rebuses:
