Today appeared new
information about the video card GeForce 9800 gx2. Such card will be
presented on 14 February, simultaneously with GeForce 9600 gt.
Thus, NVIDIA will represent its answer to Radeon HD 3870 x2
almost two weeks after its announcement o.
 The recommenced price for the GeForce 9800 gx2 will be equal to $449. In the two level PCB will be united two video chip G92 and 2 X 512 mb Gddr-3 memory ; moreover the quantity of stream processors in each video chip will be equal to 128 pieces. On the speed level one GeForce 9800 gx2 will be up to 30-50% faster then GeForce 8800 ultra.  Joint MIO on video card GeForce 9800 gx2 will be only one, which allow to unite two such graphic card in SLI regime . On the rear panel it is possible to reveal DVI ports, but also HDMI port , or optical port S/PDIF. GeForce 9800 GX2 producers recommends the use of power unit with not less than 580 W, ensuring load capacity not below 40 A on the 12 v line .
