It is completely clear that NVIDIA prepares as minimum one additional card GeForce 9xxx generation. We deal here with video card GeForce 9600 gt on base of G96 (D9M) chip, which will replace the geForce 8500 gt and GeForce 8600 gt.

Let us begin from the fact that G96 has 128- bit memory bus. Standard video card will exist in two version: with Gddr-2 memory (P729) and with Gddr-3 memory (P727). The first will have four layers PCB and support DisplayPort. The second will have complex six-layer PCB design and it is equipped with 256 mb Gddr-3 memory . The frequency of video chip will be equal to 650/1650 MHz in both cases, Gddr-2 memory will operate at 900 MHz DDR frequency, Gddr-3 memory with access time 1.1-1.2 ns will operate at 1600-1800 MHz DDR frequency . NVIDIA partners can release other version GeForce 9500 gt.

The GeForce 9500 gt will propose DirectX 10 and PCI Express 2.0 support, and also assure compatibility with technology Hybrid Power. Video chip will also obtain the new video processor VP3, which is more effective and faster in video decoding .The Announcement of GeForce 9500 gt is planned in February .
