According to GSMArena, citing knowledgeable sources, South Korean company Samsung has started production of the processor Exynos 8890, which will form the base for one of the three versions of the future flagship Galaxy S7. Earlier it was expected that the production of the new chip will begin in December.
Samsung may start selling Galaxy S7 in February 2016 after its official announcement, expected in January. However, version-based Exynos 8890 smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7 in different markets will also be released in versions with Exynos 7422 processor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
Samsung also in the beginning of November has begun to develop software for the Samsung Galaxy S7 (G930FXXU0AOK6 and G935FXXU0AOK6). Its creation began a month earlier than was the case with the firmware for the Galaxy S6. In addition SamMobile sources have confirmed that the new flagship will be available in a variant with a flat-screen TV and curved.
