Hardware Battle reports that in the markets of China, South Korea and Japan will be a new version of the video card GeForce GTX 750, which is used in the initial state-generation graphics processor GM107-300 Maxwell 1.0 with support for DirectX 11.2.
Now, the place of GM107-300 take the GPU GM206-150, which refers to the generation of Maxwell 2.0 and provides support for DirectX 12. Related GM206 Series GPUs are the basis of GeForce GTX 950 and GeForce GTX 960. The number of active CUDA cores in the new version GeForce GTX 750 does not exceed 512 units, a 128-bit bus, informing GM206-150 graphics processor with 1GB of memory type GDDR5. The corresponding product has already been seen on Gainward site .
This card not only gained support for DirectX 12 and HDMI 2.0, but also in hardware accelerates video encoding at a higher resolution as compared with GM107-300. Reference version of GeForce GTX 750 had a TDP level not more than 55 W, and it eliminates the need for additional power connectors, but, Gainward based on the new processor is equipped with a six-pole connector. The frequency values are 1074/1226/5010 MHz, as in normal mode TDP not more than 65 watts.
The prospect of such graphics cards outside the Asian region is not discussed, but it is unlikely they will remain strictly local products. Related Products :
