Situation with the update of some NVIDIA card is amusing. From one side, Nvidia company prepares the two-chip product : GeForce 9800 gx2. From other side, NVIDIA leader openly talk about the superiority of one chip graphical solutions. We are waiting for a long time to the one chip successor of GeForce 8800 gtx, the deliveries of these video card was stopped since January . According to some data, this will be the 55 nm chip G100, which possesses the noticeably larger core area in comparison with G80. In the end of March , NVIDIA will release its fastest one chip video card in this year - GeForce 9800 gtx (D9e-20). From the designation code , it will be based on G92 chip , which will obtain increase in performance due to the higher frequencies ( Range 750-850 MHz ) is mentioned. The new revision of G92 chip , will appear in GeForce 9800 gx2, and will obtain the lower energy consumption level together with the improved frequency potential. The Announcement of GeForce 9800 gtx will takes place in two weeks after the release of GeForce 9800 gx2. | ||
