Company AdDuplex published usage statistics of Microsoft's mobile operating system for February 2016. The report is based on data collected by 5219 applications for Windows Phone, utilizing AdDuplex SDK v.2 or higher.
Interestingly, the biggest gain of smartphones and tablets is marked in the category "Other". So, from the beginning of January the number of third-party devices has increased by one per cent and continues to grow to this day. This is primarily due to a decrease in the share of Nokia / Microsoft Smartphone 0.1%. In the last month, the brand surpassed BLU Huawei, the fourth most popular smartphone maker, but in February, the Chinese managed to regain the position, having played 0.04% of the market, that is exactly how much BLU and circumvent Huawei.
As for the popularity of Microsoft operating systems themselves, there is seen growing demand for Windows Phone 7 by 0.2%, and Windows Phone 8 by 0.1%, while Windows Phone 8.1 has lost 1% of the market, while Windows 10 Mobile continues to expand its presence, adding 0.8%. Related Products :
