Today we saw the benchmark results of GeForce 9800 GTX in 3DMark'06, but this one chip product can become the second important disappointment in this season. As reports associate , the GeForce 9800 GX2 now collect just more than 14 000 in 3DMark'06, and this is insufficient to complete with the cheaper radeon HD 3870 X2.
Let us note, that the official recommended geForce 9800 GX2 price will be around $599 . However, today NVIDIA reported to its partners about the transfer Of geForce 9800 GX2 announcement from 11 to 18 March in the present year. The reasons for announcement delay was not mentioned, but partners consider the same drivers issue, which do not allow two-chip product to effectively scale the speed.
