Recently all owners of AGP 8x systems where focused on new solutions series radeon HD 3850, whose support under Windows vista will be soon realized at the drivers level . Already now it is possible to exploit the AGP- version radeon HD 3850 under DirectX 9 in the operating system Windows XP. As show tests , the installation of video card radeon HD 3850 in system with AGP 8x interface will allow user to play contemporary games.
For AGP 8x NVidia card As it was explained, the existing revision of transitional bridge BR02 (HSI) cannot work with new video chips, therefore AGP can work only with video card series geForce 7xxx. It was considered that NVIDIA will release the new revision a05 of transitional bridge BR02, and then we will see the AGP- versions Of geForce 8xxx. As a whole NVIDIA company does not consider AGP 8x due to its limited demand. | ||
