Yesterday, AMD introduced the Radeon graphics card and the RX 460 Radeon RX 470. However, virtually no technical details about updates has not been told. Now, AMD released the slides, of which it became known more data about video card series Radeon RX.
The first slide tells us what we know already from yesterday. Namely, that the Radeon RX 480 is positioned for games in high definition and with VR-headsets, Radeon RX 470 - for games in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60 f / s, and Radeon RX 460 - for multiplayer online games like Dota 2.
But the slide above is much more interest. From it we learn that the GPU Polaris 11, which is based on the graphics card Radeon RX 460, has 16 processing units, ie 1024 stream processors. Performance of the GPU will be more than 2 TFlops and performance per watt of power will increase by 2.8 times, compared to its predecessor (Radeon R7 360). Also officially confirmed that the youngest of the Polaris has a 128-bit interface.
The test performance SteamVR, showing a willingness to work with the cards VR-headsets, Radeon RX 480 gained 6.3 points, which is approximately equal to the result Radeon R9 390. Slide below shows us the first official images of Polaris Polaris 10 and 11.
