We already introduced the overclocking potential of video card geForce 9800 GTS and GeForce 9800 GTX. Unfortunately, the existing drivers forceWare 174.20 cannot entirely open the potential of these video card, since in 3DMark'03 the speed is scaled very badly. Simultaneously with the announcement Of geForce 9800 GTX Nvidia will release the drivers forceWare 174.40, they have all chances to correct the situation.
The most impressive overclock result of single video card geForce 9800 GTX is 864/2160/2646 MHz. Without modifications and extreme cooling.

Paired with the dual core processor overclocked to 4.0 GHz [ xeon e3110 (3.0 GHz) ] result in 3DMark'03 was 38 520 points. Let us examine the results of two video card GeForce 9800 GTX:

Xeon e3110 @ 4.5 GHz, video card at frequencies 800/2000/2330 MHz - > 59 800 points in 3DMark'03;
