And today, at a press conference in Seoul, it officially voiced two reasons that led to the overheating and in some cases led to the ignition of new smartphones. As it turned out, Galaxy Note 7 explosion has two reasons related to the battery of the new smartphone. It is noted that the investigation was attended by 700 Samsung employees. During the investigation, they studied a total of 200 000 smartphone and 30,000 batteries. Samsung made it clear that the design of Galaxy Note 7 are not to blame for what happened.
Samsung said that the results of its investigation are confirmed by three independent research companies: UL, Exponent and TUV Rheinland. Samsung has increased control over the quality and safety of the devices. Installed in the new products Samsung batteries will undergo eight-tests, including a visual examination, X-rays and a complete dismantling of the samples.
