Our colleagues published test results of three different models of AMD Ryzen processors in benchmark 3DMark Fire Strike. This is perhaps the first tests that demonstrate an exemplary performance level of the new AMD processors in games.
The charts below shows the points scored in 3DMark Physics .
Tested were just three test sample (Qualification Samples) AMD Ryzen processors: 8-core ZD3406BAM88F4_38 / 34_Y, 6-core ZD3301BBM6IF4_37 / 33_Y and 4-core ZD3201BBM4KF4_34 / 32_Y. Judging by the available unofficial information on the operating frequencies AMD Ryzen future processors, the first two samples correspond to the models R7 1700X and R5 1600X.
Charts with the results speak for themselves. Multi-threaded performance of the new AMD processors really stands out. Perhaps the flagship R7 1800X, with automatic overclocking, it can compete with the 10-core Core i7 6950X, with the significant difference in price. As expected, the performance per core (stream) from the new processors AMD Ryzen not the highest, but not much lower than that of Intel processors. Among other things, this is due to the very high and the first operating
frequency.
