The increased interest in the Socket AM4 platform does not mean that the world's overclockers have finally lost interest in its predecessor. At least, the Argentine enthusiast Pablocs08 this month excelled with a series of records in the model, which is headed by a new limiting frequency, ever achieved by the Sempron 130 processor Socket AM3.
This single-core representative of the 45 nm Sargas generation was overclocked to 4810 MHz using a single-stage phase-transition system. The result of raising the frequency of the base generator to 370 MHz by the motherboard Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H can not be considered a record, it corresponds only to the third place. Various tests, this processor Sempron 130 was able to pass at frequencies from 4263 to 4757 MHz, in many cases occupying the first places in the model competition.
