Although the major portion of video card on base of 55 nm chip g92b will relate to the geForce 9900 series . Today appeared additional data about GeForce 9800 GT technical characteristics , such card will be released during July in the present year.
The GeForce 9800 GT will be more technologically effective and more productive replacement for the GeForce 8800 GT. The video chip frequency is not still determined, but it will be above present 600 MHz. The GDDR3 memory frequency will depend on the geForce 9800 GT version : in the 256 mb version , memory frequency will be equal to 1800 MHz DDR, and the 512 mb version will operate at 1950 MHz frequency . The geForce 8800 GT was a very successful video card, to increase the attractiveness , NVIDIA decided to release cheaper and functionally moved GeForce 9800 GT on base of 55 nm chip. | ||
