Video card geForce 9800 GTX and GeForce 9800 GX2, which now use 65 nm g92 chip , in this block will be removed from production, therefore there is no sense to transfer them to more thin technology . As reports associate, the present level of suitable 55 nm chips releases (NVIDIA ) is not so high not in order to make serious rate to the new technical process. As backup insurance the company intends to propose 65 nm version geForce 9800 GT, and 55 nm version will be experimental. When the 55 nm NVIDIA chips will reach the necessary degree of maturity, the final passage to the new technological step will start. |
