Video card on base of RV770 will exist in two versions : with GDDR- 3 and GDDR- 5 memory .
With reference to certain internal documents : Video card on base of RV770 chip with GDDR- 3 memory will appear at the end of May. Obviously, we deal here with the radeon HD 4850 with GDDR- 3 memory ( 256 or 512mb ). Although the existing GDDR- 5 models completely satisfy AMD according to their characteristics, video card producers will obtain sufficient memory microcircuits reserves to the end of June. Accordingly, the radeon HD 4850 version with GDDR- 5 memory will appear in July . | ||
