Intel company obtained order for the production of solid-state storage's on base of flash- memory SSD (solid-state drive-based) from Google, which planned a hardware update for their servers. The update of hardware from Google company is planned with purpose to reduce in electric power consumption . The energy-effective flash- memory chips will be made from intel, and marvell company will supply the corresponding controllers . The beginning of deliveries is planned for the end of the second quarter this year. | ||
