During June will appear the budget notebook on base of intel atom processors  .  Some considers that for $500 it is possible to purchase a full-size notebook with a classical hard disk and large screen. Other are assured that the light weight and modest overall sizes are the main advantages of asus eee PC notebook. This week appeared information about the new eee PC version and MSI products . We start from the news version eee PC on base of atom processor.   This Model is Eee PC 901 , it will be the transitional version between the present eee PC 900 and future notebook ( with larger screen ) . Thus , Asus is assembled to release the eee PC version with a screen diagonal 10 or even 11 inches. The eee PC 901 version with the operating system Linux will obtain more installed programs, and the cost of this model will be $650. MSI wind is the main Asus Eee PC competitor. It will be the first solution on base Of intel atom with a screen diagonal 10 inches. However, MSI wind in some versions will be equipped with 8.9 inch screen.   For approximately $399 buyer will obtain the notebook MSI wind with 10 inch screen (1024 X 600) and the processor atom with 1.6 GHz frequency  . Operational memory with 512mb volume can be extended due to the second slot. The hard disk has 80Gb capacity and serial ATA interface . MSI wind is calculated for approximately 2,5 hours of off-line operation. $399 wind version is already provided with 1.3-mp Web- camera, and also the operating system Linux novell SUSE. The wireless adapter wiFi (802.11 b/g) is provided in all versions, and here Bluetooth is only for the expensive  MSI wind versions. However, the word (expensive) in this case relates to $549. In this case , buyer will obtain 1Gb memory and 80Gb  disk spaces, and also the adapter bluetooth and Windows XP home edition operating system. Six-cell battery will allow to work up to six hours.     Finally, today appeared the description of the desktop version MSI wind PC, which will appear in the middle of June. In the base configuration, this system includes the chipset i945GC and the processor atom with 1.6 GHz frequency , 1 Gb memory DDR 2-533, hard disk : 160 Gb , combo- drive DVD , Gigabit network adapter, memory device  4- in -1 , sound adapter class 7.1 .
