Associate report that Acer revealed details about its Eee PC - notebook version : aspire one . Besides the processor intel atom with 1.6 GHz frequency , this notebook includes 512mb memory and 8Gb solid-state disk. The screen size is 8.9 inch and support 1024 X 768 resolution . This notebook includes a wireless connection wiFi 802.11 b/g adapter and battery ( three hours of off-line operation) . As operating system Acer used Linpus Linux lite ( interface developed by Acer ).

On sale Acer aspire one in the configuration examined will appear in this month with the recommended price $379. This almost $170 cheaper than the close in characteristics asus eee PC 901 with Linux operating system . However, Asus proposes 20Gb disk space, blue-tooth adapters and 1,3-MP cameras.

Later Acer is assembled to present the aspire one version with the operating system Windows XP home and 1Gb memory, and also 80Gb hard disk.

This month Eee PC competitor will grow with the Gigabyte m912 notebook ( 8.9 inch display and resolution 1280 X 768, and also 250Gb hard disk )
