Today appeared some interesting information about the geForce GTX 280 - 260. The existing models operate at 602/1296/2214 MHz frequencies . The GDDR3 memory capacity is equal to 1Gb, and the memory system bus is 512 bits. For the Geforce 260 , the quantity of stream processors was reduced from 240 to 192 pieces and the memory system bus was reduced from 512 to 448 bits , and memory capacity is limited to 896mb.  The GeForce GTX 260 will work at 576/1242/1998 MHz frequencies . Cooling system will be the same as in GeForce GTX 280 . The geForce GTX 260 energy consumption level is equal to 183 W.  Associate reports that in 3DMark vantage test (extreme profile ) , two-chip video card radeon HD 4870 X2 collects approximately 5500 points, and one chip GeForce GTX 280 - only 4800 points.
