Acer company presented a new mini- PC acer aspire x1200, which is positioned as entertaining center and in the base configuration it cost $450. Instead of intel atom with its limited productivity , Acer engineers constructed Aspire x1200 on the valuable desktop platform, which can easily manage high definition video and contemporary games. In this case the overall system sizes differ a little from MSI wind : the case dimensions are approximately equal to 27 X 10 X 36,5 cm, the case dimensions in MSI wind are 26 X 6,5 X 30 cm; approximately the same sizes as ASUS Box's Eee. Besides compactness, the important features are the attractive exterior view and the rich collection , which includes two slots PCI express (X1 and X16), nine (!) ports USB 2.0, port IEEE 1394 and device for memory card.

The use of dual core AMD processors and NVIDIA chipset geForce 8200 with pureVideo HD support and microsoft directX 10 facilate work With HD video (up to 1080p; HD- display is connected with the aid of HDMI interface ) and to play in contemporary games. The sound multichannel system HD audio (7.1) is equipped with head sets, microphone, receiver . The model acer aspire X1200-U1520A (recommended price in USA $450) include the processor AMD athlon X2 4850e, 4 GB DDR2 memory ,320GB HDD with SATA II interface and optical drive DVD superMulti (16x DVD�R/RW, DVD-RAM, Double-Layer). The $10 more expensive models Acer aspire X1200-U1510A has the processor AMD athlon X2 5000+. For $700 it is possible to acquire the model acer aspire X1200-B1581A with the processor AMD athlon X2 4850e, 500- GB HDD and the 22- inches wide-format monitor. Computers are completed by sound systems, keyboards and mouse, and also by OS Windows vista home premium 64 with SP1, Microsoft office 2007 , Adobe reader, CyberLink powerDVD and Arcade live .
