The new generation motherboards average level P45A- S and P45A from Foxconn company include two models standard size ATX, they include the chipset intel p45 + ICH10R. The motherboard P45A- S and P45A are optimized for intel core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processors with FSB frequency up to 1600 MHz (complete list of compatible processors includes also Pentium dual-Core and Celeron). Those motherboards support 45nm processors (Wolfdale/Yorkfield).

According to the company, foxconn engineers were able to combine the unsurpassed productivity and exceptional opportunities for its price. Besides support of high performance intel processors , P45A- S and P45A has the maximum memory volume increased to 16 GB (both motherboards supports the two-channel memory DDR2 1066/800/667) and the possibility of multiprocessor graphic system with the use of crossFireX technology . The motherboard P45A support the multichannel (7.1) sound high clearness. The equipment of motherboard include SATA II (6 pcs) and eSATA (1 pcs), IEEE1394a (2 pcs, only in P45A- S), USB2.0 (12 pcs) and ATA 133 (1 pcs). The list of expansion slots includes PCI express x16 (2 pcs), PCI express x1 (2 pcs) and PCI (2 pcs).
